Bachelor Pad 3: Finale!

Last night’s Bachelor Pad finale had it all…
Drama, excitement, shocking twists and of course always the expected scandal.
Michael you are no longer a fan favorite. You had all of America fooled; you really had us all convinced. Rachel was going to be the next Mrs. Michael Stagliani…or at least the gf for a while. Little did we know you had another fling off the camera waiting for you in the wings. You played that game well but in the midst of your puppet mastering you managed to break a heart-actually a few if you count all of America. L it would be an understatement to say, “You disappointed us.” You shocked the world with your ice cold words with not a sign of remorse. You were the guy we liked love and now we love to hate. Holly really did a number on you because you are not the same Michael we once knew or are you. It seems that sometimes the producers like to persuade us to think one way or the other for ratings. boo.

and with that a word from Michael himself...
"I am not sure how everyone is going to react to the finale. I really don't know whether viewers will understand, or if I will look like a bad guy, or a "manipulator"... To close, I would say this: I am sorry to Rachel. I know what it feels like to have those feelings not reciprocated and I hate that she feels like I led her on. I cannot be anymore thankful for the love and support the last few years that I have received from each and every single one of you and can only hope that it continues after this show. If you see me on the street somewhere, and want to, please come give me a hug, let's take a picture, and laugh about the craziness that occupies our Monday nights..."
Miss Erica Rose-you words can be so piercing; cut straight in and just turn. It obvious that you have so much anger and frustration build up against some of your fellow contestants but come on-let it go. Don’t concern with the actions of others, for their actions are their own.  We did however miss your tiny gavel.

BIG CONGRADULATIONS to Blakely and Tony who are now engaged! That came as a big surprise to us all but no one more than Blakely herself as she scanned the room continuously looking for some kind of sign or reassurance that it was indeed real life. So you didn’t win the money after all Blakely but you did win. J yay!

"the newly engaged couple"

Nick Who? You all know exactly who I’m talking about now as he shocked America with his nicely plotted revealing of his KEEP!!! This was the guy who “never said 3 words” as Ed said, and “didn’t deserve to be here” as Jaclyn said. Who would have known he would be so sneaky as to take it all home.  He saw how he was being treated from day one and in the end everyone who underestimated, pushed him aside and disregarded him completely got theirs. He really showed the other contestants how an underdog can turn out on top and future contestants how to play the game differently.

"Nick begins to execute his master plan" -by this point he knew he had won.

Me and the BP bestie’s really loved Rachel throughout the entire show and still do. We never wanted to see her lose out on both love and the money but that’s exactly what happened. We feel for you Rach.

"A very shocked Jaclyn who earlier told BF Rachel to choose KEEP"

On the other hand though we don’t believe Nick was being selfish or cruel in any way. He did get to the top 2 alone and just because Rachel became his partner by default he didn’t owe her a thing. She didn’t want to be his partner, she barely knew his name. Nick knew this and waited till the time was right to tell everyoneEXATLY…HOW …he felt.

"A very distraugh and disgusted Rachel after Nick's decision had been revealed"

Hello my fellow bloggers...

I have some very exciting news to share.
Last weekend James and I took a lil’ vacation to visit old friends in Long Beach.  Yes, you heard me right, we drove 7 hours each way on Labor Day weekend in holiday traffic. Joyous times. J
Little did I know it would all be worth it come Sunday (9.2.12) afternoon.  James and I decided to go to Sunset Beach to collect some seashells for Tuck’s Tank (our turtle). Wealways  loved going to Sunset Beach when we lived in Southern California because the beach was less congested and very clean.  We had been walking for about 30 minutes when James called me over to a spot in the sand saying that he had found something. He began to dig and there appeared a black box, not just any black box though. Right there he got down on one knee and said, “Would you marry me?” I started to cry and said, “of course I will.” I always dreamed this day would come none the less it was completely unexpected. J

James and I have had our eye on one another for quite some time, but always knew we wanted to wait until the right time! Looks like that time came. We are looking at about a 1 and half engagement so that all the family in Ireland can properly prepare.
Let the wedding planning begin! J

Tiny Gavel... Justice by default.

In response to Week 6:
“Shake things up” –this is never a word that bachelor pad contestants want to hear-that is unless your name is Chris Bukowski. It seems there’s nothing that he can’t handle. Even I didn’t think he could take down seasoned veteran Michael Stagliani. However as soon as the words, “We’re about to make Bachelor Pad history” were said, I knew we were all in for a treat.
And Erica Rose…Erica Rose. What are we going to do with you? I’ll have you know that my BP besties are true fans of your work-or lack thereof.  The ridiculousness and shenanigans that is you I couldn’t have written it better myself but your tantrums-I can’t stand. As a woman myself-I know it’s a full time job, it takes hard work to be all that is a woman. None the less it can’t be turned on and off…one minute you’re a woman the next the next a young girl with a tiny gavel? What is that? Looks like your “justice” will never be served-but a girl can certainly dream.

I’m not sure if you Miss Erica Rose are aware, come to think of it I’m not sure if any of you are aware but this vacation you are getting paid to take is actually a reality TV show, a game at that, which thrives on ratings when the house is “shaken up.” Michael was only playing the game that he knows so well and sadly you took it personally.  It would look as though Rachel & Nick were partners by default. Rachel the widow and Nick the man we haven’t heard from all season…I’m interested to see how this plays out. On another note I would really love to see Michael and Rachel together for a very long time. J
It’s unclear where Chris stands in the house especially with the alliance broken-but either way he has a target on his back and willing Sarah’s going down with him.
Tune in for week 7 J

Bachelor Pad…try Bachelor Bad!

It has become tradition that every Monday night all the girlies and I get together for a little trash talking on our favorite reality love triangle none other than all that is the bachelor .  Last night did not disappoint as Blakeley and Jamie continued to drool over the circles Chris did around them. It’s a fact, Chris Bukowski has taken the name “the Bachelor Pad” to a whole new level.

"Bulowski trying to dig himself out of another hole, Jamie eating it up"

He needs to check himself, because any man would know you can’t play 3 girls and get away with it, let alone while living under the same roof. I mean we all know that Blakeley is controlling and Jamie is naïve but come on girlfriend loyal and protective aren’t words to describe Mr. Bukowski.  You’re killing me! All of America is screaming at the TV in hopes that you might wake up from this dream you’re in. Admitting you’re in denial is the first step. None the less, Chris…you just wait till next week.  It seems your time has run out…run out of girls that is.

"Blakeley watching Chris' every move"

On the contrary, one man that continues to turn heads is our winner from last season Michael Stagliano. He’s not back for the money but rather to find love and that he has. Rachel Trueheart his doting on screen fling has taken to him in the cutest way. The two have managed to stay off the voting ballots while melting our hearts all at the same time. Mr. Stagliano really knows how to play this game to his best interest and stay a fan favorite throughout.  While on season 5 of the Bachelorette, Jillian Harris’ season, Michael played the comedian card very well, he has since shown America that’s not all that’s floating around up there. The way he’s playing his cards-who knows… he might just win again. Woohoo!
"Stagliano finding love and America couldn't be happier for him"

See you all next week for some more drama thats sure to intrigue.
Love ya bye!

It's been far too Long!

Unlike the rest of the world on Monday’s I usually feel pretty empowered and this Monday is no different. With my weekends being jam packed I wake up tired of course, but after my first iced vanilla Latte the fog starts to lift. I have finished designing my craft room, finished my first order of wedding invitations, and on my way to becoming a professional card demonstrator for Stampin’ Up ©!!! Couldn’t be more excited! Mama always said, "Girlfriends are forever, men will come and go."

I am sorry i haven't posted much this week! There have been so many exciting things happening in my life including new job which i'm trying to get adjusted to. Here is what I've been working on for the past few days!

WARNING: hold on tight this will fulfilling your assigned reading for the next 3 weeks. it's long but oh so good!

It's why life is so fulfilling. It's how a dinner reservation turns into an event. It's why the smallest gesture can mean so much more. It's why i look forward to the tomorrow. It's why when the sun comes out it's cause for celebration. It's what makes me laugh till i cry and sometimes pee my pants. No it's not that hilarious obscene commercial that airs every Tuesday before Glee! I know, you know the one!

-I can only describe them as the most amazing, irreplaceable, intelligent, unforgettable, strong, sophisticated, beautiful, independent women in my life that hold the key to laughter, whose radiance can be seen in the darkest of places. These are the  friends who know exactly what to say, who know when somethings wrong after a sending text that only reads, "hello." These are the people who have blessed my life with merely their presence and made living such an adventure.

So many friends, so little time. However, there are a few I need to highlight that are dearest to my heart. I think it would only be appropriate to first mention a particular lady I've known for almost 2 decades. Pretty long time when you consider my age (24).  When I was very young, i think around 5 years old, my brother had a friend from preschool, Matt. Usually at that age though the parents are more often friends than the youngsters themselves, it's just how it works I guess. Any who Matt's mom and my mama thought it would be a grand idea to introduce Matt's sister and I to each other. As I prepared we meet, I can only imagine myself all excited, picking out a cute lil' dress and pulling that Velcro across my little Baby Janes.  Little did I know upon arrival my life would be changed forever but not without a short tantrum session by my soon to be bestie. She hated me!

Cards Week: 1

Well I took from the poll and the votes are in. Over the weekend I worked on a "Happy Birthday" card that can double as a "St. Paddy's Day" card by simply changing the wording.  I was trying to include more than one of the choices that were requested by my readers! hehe

What do you think?

This is a very simple card that anyone can make! Come guys, i know what you're thinking but let's think...confidence! I really think the hardest part about making handmade cards is figuring out these 4 things:
